Sodexo Luxembourg and the European School, a shared history

We received some good news at the start of the new school year, namely the beginning of our new contract at the European School in Mamer.

Since 2007, Sodexo Luxembourg has been in charge of catering for teachers as well as 4-to-18 year old students at the European School 1 in Kirchberg. In total, more than 1800 meals are served each day, in addition to 1000 visits to the cafeteria.

Catering and cleaning staff at the European School combined, more than 80 Sodexo Luxembourg employees work on the Kirchberg site every day.

Since the start of the new academic year, we are proud to have taken over catering at the European School 2 in Mamer, where our teams now serve 1500 meals a day to students and teachers. The cafeteria is a great success with 1250 visits per day. A team of 40 Sodexo employees is on-site every day in Mamer with one goal in mind: to keep the guests happy!

The Mamer self-service dining area has also been revamped: “Europa Tour'', ''Mediterranéo'' and ''Oki Bowl'' give children the opportunity to try new dishes prepared by Sébastien and his team every day.
